An insider’s tour of technology developments in the consultancy world

The Cambridge area is peppered with technical consultancies, but what do they actually do, and is it just making PowerPoints? Through a series of project examples, and the occasional anecdote, I will aim to provide a window into the consulting world and have you come away with not just an answer to that question, but some interesting technical insights too.

Expect to hear about taking a ventilator from blank sheet to production in 6 weeks, delivering drug more reliably to the retina, robotic endoscopy… and much more!

Catherine Wyman, TTP

Catherine Wyman leads the eyecare team at TTP where she serves as a subject matter expert and oversees development projects ranging from creating novel drug delivery devices to complex diagnostic systems. She has spent her career developing medical devices; with contributions ranging from the detailed mechanical design of inhalers to carrying out strategic reviews of large organisation’s R&D approaches. Catherine has a BA and MEng from the University of Cambridge where she specialised in fluid dynamics.
