Dr Douwe Kiela won a CSAR Student Award in 2016, for his research on the improvement of human-computer interaction. After spending 5 years at Facebook/Meta as a Research Scientist, he is now the Head of Research at a company called Hugging Face, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Stanford.
